Panfish and trout spoon

This tiny spoon is really a killer lure for Bluegill, Redears and crappie. The trout like it too. If you have never felt the hard slam and drag pull of a nice Redear Sunfish on light tackle, you need to try this out. The tiny Dardevle Skeeter spoon is such a productive bait. Use 2 lb line tied with a loose loop knot to the spoon- no swivel, and retrieve with a slow steady retrieve. You can get these at Bass Pro Shops. I like the "Hot Mackerel" color the best, but all colors will get bit.

Good info , The Redear at this lake like KVD Silent square bills in 1.5 size as well lol .. they slam them for sure
