    Default Echo Park FInally Picking Up!

    Fished echo park today, and the bite is much better. Got my usual ~30 little ones, and one almost-decent sized one lol. Apparently the big ones are starting to bite, and I saw a few 2-3 pounders bedding.

    Awesome - thanks for the update!
    I used to love fishing Echo Park when I lived a bit closer. Would haul out a few 1 to 3 pounders on a dark hula grub. Then chow down on some elote.

    My Dad watched a kid drown in the lake in about 1912. I actually participated in the "Model Boat Regatta" in about 1957. Lots of lake history here:

    Nice link I had some good times at that city lake in the 50s.
