Lake Cachuma weekend of 3/18-3/20/16
Camped at Lake Cachuma over the weekend and from a spot off shore, was able to bring in 7 crappie total. The bite was super slow and the time frame when the fish were caught was quite short for us. Caught them mainly between 10am-12pm and when the sun was out. Was nice enough to bump into a guy in that spot when I first got there who was kind enough to give me some info because he had already hooked up on 10 of them.
Lots of people were taking out rental boats and quite a few people fishing from shore for bass. Heard from other fisher folks passing by that a couple other people were catching crappie as well. No luck with bass or catfish but did see carp jumping.
