Hit up the Marina this morning to do some dock fishing.
Fishing was very slow, only got one fish.
Caught a 10 lb kitty... NO other bites for me or anyone fishing around me!!
Man it took forever to reel in that catfish!!

I would guess 50-60 ft but never metered in that close to the dock. Patience right now. It's close but not quite time.

Water level is back up, that's nice to see.

    Thanks Seal...
I always cast out about 25 yards. I just leave the bail open while feeding out line until the line stops.
Btw today the wind was almost Nonexistent

Around 1 lb Cats are mostly what i have been catching too!
After fishing Yucaipa for trout the past 6 weeks, that's all i can catch, I've caught 8 Cats total the last three times i went.
At least they saved me from the , it's been awhile since that's happened.

What bait do you recommend for cats at Silverwood?

They can be caught on mackerel, sardines, and anchovies all can be purchased at the marina store.I caught this one on sardines this time. The time before I caught two, one on mackerel and one on anchovies. All from the dock. The sardines and mackerel do tend to stay on the hook better if you are casting far. Good luck out there!!!

I've gotten a few on nightcrawlers in the past as well.
