    Default SARL - Rain

    Hey Guys,

    I'm planning on going to SARL this Saturday but I have a concern about the recent rain this week - I know folks here in the forums getting skunk/slow at SARL due to recent rain(in the past). Is this true?? Would it be a bad idea to go this weekend? Do I need to wait for few days/weeks or how many days/weeks for water to clear up? I just would hate to go out there and get skunk knowing that the recent rain does affect getting bites.

    You just gotta shorten your leader and cast closer to shore.
    You can get skunked there during heat waves, santa ana winds, rain, or just plain ol' great trout fishing weather. Where else you gonna go where there's a chance for big trout? They're all DFW minnow sized fish just about everywhere else in So Cal.
