Water is a couple degrees warmer at 54* and has dropped a few feet since last week's full-pool. Inlet was pretty much a still pond with almost no current at all. No stripers to be had except NFCD's 1 fish on his 2nd cast. Fished until 11:30 and got some stripers trolling around, but I'd be hard pressed to identify a pattern. Beautiful day with the usual so-so bite.

Hey Bob, anywhere from 12 to 40 feet. Bait (when you can find it) is really moving around fast. I'll find a bait ball, mark a way point, then come back around and nada. Gone. One day 6 fish the next 2 or 3. A good time to challenge your skills. OH BTW You have a PM

I'll just add to this thread instead of starting a new one. Went back today 2/16 and it was much the same. The water is still around 57-58 degrees but it is dropping. It's now down almost 15 feet. The fence posts in the inlet are real shallow so be careful. Fished from opening til 12:00 and got 4. Only metered one bait ball and didn't get hit there. Typical.
