Full moon Cuda fest.
Went to DPH to try for some night time bass and halibut, got hit on a DS rig on the sink and turned out to be a cuda. After an hour of no bites from my target species I gave in and tied on an LC and landed a bunch more cuda from the small pier in the back of the harbor. Not what I was hoping for but hard to overlook a WFO bite to at least get your rod bent.
Sounds like a fun evening packed full of line pulls! Ya gotta luv them cudas!

Biggest was 23" most were just under 20". I'e never caught a legal out of Dana point harbor.
Gotta love them WFO cuda bites, been a couple months for me. Glad you stuck some...............Verne
Funny,.. I used to surf Dana Point BEFORE it was made into a harbor back in the 60s. Awesome waves! Was a great place to surf!
