I've used these vinyl squids for many years and the fish really like them. Basically it's just a trolling squid used for salmon that I put a jig head inside the hollow head. I like 1/2 oz. but it depends on the depth and how fast the tide is moving. They come in lots of great colors, but I like the bright greens w/glitter for Spotted and Barred Sand Bass and the pinks and oranges for the halibut and croaker. A lot of the colors glow in the dark also. I like to bounce and swim them along the bottom, and also to drop them down alongside of the various dock pilings The squids are only about .50 cents apiece, so if you get broke off, it's not too bad money wise.
