    Oh yeah yeah..even up to a 1/2 oz...whatevers needed to get where the trout are. Depth is not really a factor but rather wind conditions and the distance where the fish are holding. Early am fish will be close to shore, but as the sun rises and the fishing pressure increases theyll move out a bit further. The d/s will work but the most entertaining and rewarding style of spin fishing fot trout has got to be with a mini jig. Gluck
