Life is good!!!

Hit beach #1 about 1/2 hour before there was even any greylight. Threw the LC and landed 2 of these little guys. The cold water has them real lethargic, felt like dang goldfish!!


Fished beach #2 for a couple of hours, the smelt were driving me crazy. Finally managed to land this little fella.


On the way home I decieded to try one more beach..............and I'm glad I did. Stuck with the LC and this was the result.




After a quick photo session it was thanked and returned to the surf. This is only my second legal, but it is my PB. Thanks for reading, Verne

I didn't catch a single legal Halibut this year.

Life is definitely good, but with that legal hali even better!
Congrats on your new PB! If there are some hali's of that size where you fish, give it another go in the A.M. you just might be surprised at what you pull in.
