    Default Laughlin

I did a search for Laughlin here but I didn't seem to find any recent reports. I mostly fish the Eastern Sierras but I also go to Laughlin twice a year to shoot craps. My question is would it be worth it for me to start taking my gear with me? No better way to kill time if the craps tables get cold. I also assume I would have to get a fishing license in Bullhead City. We usually go in late March and September, if that makes any difference. I'm really only set up for trout so what lures would I need for some bass fishing...

A Colorado river stamp on a California fishing license doesn't cut it there, I asked the DFG out there last time I was there, they were patrolling in 3 trucks, glad I asked, fish by the bridge casino side, trout, the schools of carp around the casino docks sometimes have striped bass in the mix

Take a couple of dinner rolls from the buffet and you can slay the carp on light tackle and a small dough ball. Great fun and good eats if you know how to prepare them (cold in gelatin is best).
I once caught a few and put them in the bathtub in our Edgewater hotel bathroom. Freaked out the maid.
