I bolded some of the best ones... too much BS to bold I quit after the first wo STOU speeches.....Does he lie much......

Tonight President Obama will deliver his final State of the Union address, which the White House says will refrain from the usual "laundry list" of new proposals. That's probably a smart strategy, based on how successfully he's delivered on past State of the Union promises.

Looking back, the numbers aren't pretty. From 2009 through 2015, Grabien counts 140 promises that remain unfulfilled.

We should note that many of these promises are duplicated from one year to another. For example, almost every year he has pledged to pass comprehensive immigration reform, overhaul corporate taxes, reduce regulations, and close Guantanamo Bay.

Don’t have time to read all 140? Here are some of the most notable:

    Curing cancer (promised 2009, 2010, 2015)
Freezing government spending for three years (2010) and five years (2011)
    Colonizing outer space (2015)
Going “line by line” through the budget, eliminating needless programs (2009, 2010)
Inventing “material thinner than paper but stronger than steel” (2014)
Passing health reform that will let Americans keep their insurance (2010)
Converting sunlight into liquid fuel (2015)
    Passing comprehensive immigration reform (2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014)
    Closing Gitmo (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015)
    Ending the Israeli-Palestinian conflict (2014)
Passing a law that will prevent mass shootings (2014)
Keeping earlier promises he’s already made (2013)

The full list is below. Montage above. Did we miss anything? Let us know in the comments.

    .

    If anyone doubts America's commitment?

    Just ask bin laden?

Hmmm, maybe some of the San Berdoo terrorist attack victims are gathering together and heading over to his place this morning to do just that... thanks a lot.

    What a great guy.

And, why does he chuckle when he says the sentence containing the words "America's commitment " ?

    Wtf is that about?

Is that really a giggle moment?

What goes on in this guy's head?

He is NOT FOR AMERICA, his mind is somewhere else.

    ... I know I shouldn't, but I can't look away ignore the swastika.

Obama may well be a terrible president - but the common comparison to Hitler is completely invalid. anyone care to engage in a polite discussion, I will happily oblige. The topic has deep meaning for me. ;-(

    138. Close Gitmo

    139. Enact criminal justice reform

    140. Seek out Republican ideas to make America strong

Some are just examples of say something do the opposite. Last nights speech was a lecture.
    Frenchy's Rebuttal:

Is his list of unfulfilled promises any different from EVERY OTHER President we ever had??? I'll answer that, "NO!!!!!!!" Look it is the choice in politics of choosing the lessor of 2 evils. I'm hoping in California for a moderate type Republican to run for the Governorship, because I think Gavin Newsome is way too Liberal!!!! You may not like some of Governor Browns Ideas or policy's but when he leaves office, California will be in much BETTER financial shape then when he came in. Let's get back to the Presidency, once again it's the choice of the lessor of 2 evils. Did you stay to hear what the Rebut was from the Republicans and their hope for the future. I'll go over it and what it's meanings were IF it was ever put into practice.

    1. Lower Tax's

There is an original thought!!!!! First of all we all know the stats, 47% of people don't pay tax's. (this does nothing for them) The 1% own so much a the country's wealth (26% and counting) raising their tax's would be a huge boost to debt reduction. Instead the Republicans want to LOWER their tax's!!!!!! What a donkey play!!!!!!

    2. Reduce the Federal Deficit.

I'm with Dockrat on that one, but how????? Just like your budget at home, I would raise the revenue and cut some spending. The Republicans answer is to CUT the revenue and the spending except for Defense. Think about this for a minute. WTF the deficit is already huge and you want to cut the Revenue!!!! (have they been drinking????) That would make the deficit even worse unless they GUT everything else except the Military. Now what kind of country would we be living in if they did that. A real SHITE hole that's what!!!! That's what the Republicans are proposing.

    3. Keep the Military Budget high.

To me that's where we could make some cuts. Do you people really want us to stay in the Middle East any longer. Let everybody else have a crack at it like their doing in Syria now.

In conclusion, the Republicans aren't offering Jack as an alternative. Go ahead and vote in a disaster I dare you!!!!!!

I'm not trying to deflect!!!! Obama is yesterday's news!!! All of the Republican candidates for President and even Vice-President (aka Governor of South Carolina) are using the State of the Union speech has a spring board to talk about their own beliefs. So am I!!!!! Someone needs to talk about these misguided Republicans who are really trying to F up the country and their own constituencies. Just look at what the newly elected Governor of Kentucky is doing with the Obama Care in his own state. Real compassionate guy for his own people. (AKA a Jackass)

I've got the worst spell checker in the world on my PC. So if it looks close to what I was trying to spell I usually just pick the word that looks right and I don't bother to look it up in the dictionary. (my bad) I think I've found your true purpose here on FNN. You can be my proof reader. (AKA my Bitchh!!!!) lol
