.........nope ,it just keeps rollin ,new places and new faces on the reports...............
It does seem to be evolving a little bit. A key critical moment did happen last year. When Cutbait (I think he's gone) otherwise I wouldn't use his name, put that poll out there about the General Discussion section. The one where it said, "do you think the GD section is detrimental to this website?????" The vast majority of the people voted YES!!!!! The nay sayer's were the ones who didn't have a Conservative view point on most things. We are still here, but the yes voters have left or really cut back on their posts.
When it came to all the fun we had in the GD section talking about politics, "it's just like the Hockey joke." I came for the fights and after they were done, "I stayed and watched the Hockey game!!!!"

Lot's of reasons why this site is changing. But some are over thinking it. Nothing lasts forever, change is a constant.
CB is alive and well. I'm sure he takes a little pride at knowing how much he has annoyed Etucker by posting that poll and if Etucker is correct the demise of the silly BS that use to thrive in the General Discussion threads. I know I would.
This site is predominately used by freshwater anglers and as we all know, the F/W fishing really sucks right now. Hopefully we will get the rain we need this winter and the F/W reports will start coming in again.
i agree with that. i come here for the FW reports mainly. I used to FW fish a lot, and would post more often, but i haven't fished FW in the last 6 months. Plus with Castaic down, DVL gone, and other lakes taking a hit, less people are fishing FW. Even Irvine lake is hurt. As soon as the fishing picks up, people catching more fish, people will want to share and more activity.
I for one enjoy the site,it's the first one I check daily, one of the main reasons is I enjoy seeing posts of people I recognize, and another important reason is I can share post with family and friends and not worry about language and other unsavory content,I hate when I see something or read something interesting and realize I can't share with someone like a young person like my grandson because of foul language or adult type graphics,I for one appreciate that about this site and hope it continues!

I'll still continue to post and read and respond to other anglers' posts. I like the exchange of information, pictures, and good times, but like most of the Internet, I think that there has been far too much hostility on this site for anybody's good. I really appreciate the people who post here that are civil, friendly, and positive. Please keep that going!
