    Default Skinner 10/13

Today started out like most days at Skinner. We caught several stripers in the 1st 45 minutes and then they were gone. We then went looking for LMB. We found them by the thousands, if you're looking for 6" fish. We saw a few larger models in 10' to 12' of water roaming the grass line, but couldn't get them to play. If the stripers will leave them alone, next year will be one hell of a year for LMB and BG's.

Maybe if you used and ultralight setup with 2 pound test you could have a great time.

Yeah, there's a million short bass running around there right now. A few weekends ago my 7 y/o caught 27 in just a couple of hours drop shotting a tiny fluke. He had a blast!

I was thinking exactly the same thing. Should be good next year if they can hold over.

That's exactly what we ended up doing Pat. Beatle Spins on 2# test ultra lights. It was like gill fishing.
