Still trying to find the 'trout in the sink' shots and the "i'm ninja'ing but I release the fish so that means I'm not poaching" shots around here somewhere.

Guy Harvey is going to have nothing on me after I find those pictures.

    Thanks Rod!

The accolades coming from you is well worth it.

Can't wait for next year. I hear the Yellowstone may be getting stocked with lightning trout and steelhead!

Shadow................that is a beautiful place. Speaking of beautiful places. something is just knawing at me to get back to our old stomping grounds and good 'ol rental #29. That "rental lifestyle" seemed like a million years ago. You remember it right......leaky boats, trolling motors that don't troll, me and my leadcore, depth finders that if your lucky will give you depth but never usually fish marks,,,,,, did I mention me and my trolling leadcore????

    Rod,

Those were the days, weren't they?

By 10 am, my thumb was bloody raw and Phantom and I were wandering the lake looking for you to see how the leadcoring was going, knowing full well we could motor to the nearest cove/point/dropoff and get 10 more to go, but then the bleeding would start again.

But the best part was going into Last Chance at 2 pm and people asking how we were fishing DVL when it was "closed."

    "We get on rentals."

We got looked at like lepers. Sometimes you have to slum it. Heh.

Kelly is good peeps. I probably annoyed the hell outta him emailing him every 48 hours asking about conditions the week before my trip, but he was more than friendly and gave me a lot of pointers that resulted in success.

And if you like the sparkle minnow sculpin, you should check out his Sex Dungeon, Circus Peanut, Zoo Cougar, or Heifer Groomer. Reminds me of the Reaction Innovation line of names.

And I'd figure I'd post to let people know that I do fish, bro. ;-)
