It looks like a Sammy, but doesn't fish like one; I think it fishes better. I found the Sammy would pop up almost vertically on the twitch, and this one had a more traditional side to side dog walking action. They also have one that is a dead ringer for the gunfish. I picked up a couple of those, but haven't fished them yet.
I'd be a bit peeved if someone straight up ripped off my design, turned the production to China, and then undercut me for the production costs.
Just sayin.
