    Default Bass

Was some decent Conds. today for what I thought would be halibut time.
Put some new trembles on the LC that I thought would be Ok, But, turns out
they were to weak, and each tremble broke a hook getting the Bass in .
Well, can,t complain to much since I got them at the Dollar Store.
It was a reel, peal, and slide kind of catch, because the Bass was heavy and strong !!!
Good thing I let him peal the line off on the drag, because hogging that thing in would not have worked.

Nice legal checker Daniel. Toss those cheap hooks in the garbage and forget about them. You get what you pay for buddy!
Imagine if that was a big old WSB,Flattie or Striper that hit your LC. Never cut corners when it comes to hooks...IMHO.

Good looking checker there. I'd definitely chuck those hooks though.
