Thread: First Yellowtail

  1. Default First Yellowtail

I've never been deep-sea fishing, and today I went out on the Enterprise out of Pierpoint Landing. It was a slow day for yellowtail, but I'm glad I managed to get one! A 20lber at that! Fought a lot harder than the sub-10lb fish I am used to fighting!

Yes. It was one hell of a fight. Felt like I was pulling in those massive weed tangles on my other rods... except it swam.
