    Default Mission bay

Since no one posts here anymore....lol, I went to mission bay this afternoon. Its was a fun day if a bit slow. The weather was better then back home in the inland empire today with its 100 plus temps. We got to the fishing area just before 1 pm and set up our rigs. We had 3 soak rods and me on my baitcaster. We did catch a total of 5 fish today 2 bay bass , 1 sngf and 2 bonita. What was so fun is today the bonita were boiling on the baitfish not 15 feet from the rock fishing areas. So it was cast a 3" big hammer right at them when you saw them boiling... fun stuff.

    Tight lines,

    Jon

sorry no pics... as all fish were released

Thanks for the report. Nothing is so exciting as seeing a fish boil and throwing but at it!!!
