It was a cold day and the bite was off, but some hard core anglers showed and did the best they could.

Ray brought the fish of the day in at 23 3/4 inches.

Nice looking fish you got there Bud! :thumb: The video was awesome! I would like to learn the art of flyfishing one day. Do those reels have a drag like baitcasters and spinning reels do? They don't look like they have a real good gear ratio; maybe I'm wrong. :?

Yes, fly reels do have a drag system, but you can just palm the reel is you so choose as well. Fly fishing is an art and a great hobby, and you don't have to give up gear fishing. It is as wonderful as it is frustrating :bang: , but very gratifying when you catch fish :lol: . Several clubs have free lessons. by the way you can fly fish saltwater as well.
