Default Dana Point Harbor Moo Moo

I'll be taking my daughters, City Girl and City Sushi out for our annual "Good Grades" cattleboat trip in two weeks - some time between August 13th - 15th.

We're going to be in San Clemente so we're planning on going out of Dana Point.

Anyone have any experience from there?

We are looking for quantity with table quality and size second and third considerations.

Kids studied hard this past year, so I'm really hoping to get them on some fish!

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

    thnx

Keep an eye of the counts for the landing, Thursday should be the lightest load.

most boats have been fishing the tuna lately, the twilight boat and half day are fishing bass, yellowtail, and other nearshore species.

make sure you look at the individual trip counts only posted for one day. pick the trip that seems to have the highest fish per angler ratio.

    Dude, take a fly rod!

And take a pic of the deckhands untangling your 300 gram sinking tip.
