Thread: Bu' Yields quality and quantity. 8/1-8/2

Default Bu' Yields quality and quantity. 8/1-8/2

8/1: great conditions. despite salad. hit the AM extreme low tide. ended up bouncing around and got 14 fish. 5 calico,4 hali, perch, cuda, smelt and a few macs. nothing of quality. all fish were caught on a LC giving to me by Arthur! This is the only pic i have to show for it.

8/2: the water was very very clear! saw corbs dancing around all morning along with a some shovel nice, and a leo. saw a small hali jump 3 feet in the air!!! conditions were great again despite salad. hit the AM negative around 6 am.

Started the morning off right with a chunk YFC

Moved AO and walked out. First cast bam!! This thing was FAT!!!

    Belly was FULL!

Walked down the beach a ways and scored some small hali's

Chris and I moved to our last AO. picked salad off the LC almost every other casts. lost hope... then.

Got a smelt right when we were about to leave. kept us fishing. Then on the last cast. Scored a strong YFC.

It was a great to days. Chris had caught his first fish off the lures. 8/1 he had 8 fish, 4 hali's 2 calico a mac and a 1' wsb. He was beyond stoked. He kept at it today and ended the day with 1 pancake. Great two days!!

    Thanks for reading - Sean

Good numbers for the low tide beach.
    Also, good mix of fish.
