Thread: Anyone work for riverside county?

Default Anyone work for riverside county?

Going to school out there soon and applied to a job for the County of riverside. Took an assesment test on 7-7. I've read some posts and people have said that when they applied they took the test they had to and we're contacted 2 weeks later for an interview. It seems the whole process can take anywhere from 1-12 months to get hired.

This Tuesday will be 3 weeks, so should I write this one off? I've also applied to a couple other jobs with the county for different positions, will my test results impact those jobs?

I sent an email to the recruiter who contacted me, as a thank you and kind of like what's next. The reply I got was "thank you, we show you have successfully taken the test, please allow more time for the results to come in."

    Is no new good news?

    Thanks for replies

Go down there and talk to them. My dad was director of public works at Big Bear lake years ago.
He told me once the guys that come in and keep asking about a job would get hired over phone call guys.
Try to get to "The Man"

I'll be moving there soon so I'll try that. Didn't get called for an interview.

I'd wait a bit and then make contact. The wheels grind slowly.
