Default Greetings! Swimbait sesh in Malibu. 6/26

Get to our AO with good looking conditions. Once we got our lines wet we saw that the salad was going to be an issue. Couldn't work our lure too far with out getting salad.

Rick hooks a nice one and as he hooks up i reel up a small hali.
    Double!

We work our area for about 30 mins after for nada. We decided to venture down the beach. The water was super clear. i saw a big leopard while i was casting of a rock

I work down and climb on a rock. Awesome structure. did a small pitch about 15' on the channel near the edge of a submerged rock. Fish on!

Work our way down a bit more. Rick gets a small calico on the end of his cast.

I find a trench on the edge of a sand bar with rocks around. I did another 15' pitch and get hooked up again! I was opting for short cast to work the inside trench as opposed to long casts. By the time i was in the trench my lure would have salad already. Good sesh for two hours.

    Me: 3 hali's
    Rick" 2 calicos. 10" and a nice 17"

Thanks for reading guys! can't wait to get out again. - Sean

Lt. Bones. been awhile since you have surfaced in my area of social media.
the beach was filled with people. 2 baiters and 2 casters. our hole wasn't hitting off as usual i guess it was a good thing today with the other heads.

So ya there goes the neighboorhood

Thanks as usual sir. Never made it on the boat. Bad weather conditions that day they canceled. I got an avet JX loaded with 65lb PP ready to rock. I think i'm going to get a teramar 20-40 8' to pair with it. i'm not entirely sure though. i plan to hit the boat once i get my ear taken care of. Something in there gotta get it checked out.

    Hi ya surffishingsean,

An excellent session ... all due to your determination and ability to read the water's conditions!

Thanx for the fish report with pic's!
