Was down in the area with wife and baby she let me stop for the evening 6-8 caught 2 bass on savage gear swim bait nothing huge just nice quality fish also saw lots of bruts cruising and still some on beds sorry no pics

Right on man, thanks for the report. How's the water level? My brother uses Savage Swim baits too in Cape Cod for Stripers (eels).
Water level is still pretty good no issues there. Catfish plant is right around the corner means some night time bass fishing should be fun
Lived in SD county during my Navy years but never fished Dixon, always heard good reports coming out of there. May have to make a road trip one weekend and get some time on the water. Thanks for the info, and good fishing to you and the family.
