I used them a lot and they sure produce some nice chunky bass.

I'm sure the produce because I was getting bite after bite today I just can't hook up to them for some reason I use the regular hudds with no problems but I couldn't hook one today in really frustrated any thing I can dobro modify the hudd I'm using a hudd swimbait rod with 80 pound braid and set the hook hard

Bend the hook up a little. Other modifications = no longer weedless.

Like BB knows anything Devore. Weedless Hud vs. rigging a regular top hook exposed Hud. Hook is exposed, weedless no so much anymore.

They probably, or you can make, one of those hook keepers that are used for weedless senko wacky rigging.
It is a light wire that extends from the hook eye with a little kink on the end that will attach to the hook barb.

You could make something like this with bailing wire or chicken fence wire.

Butch Brown rig regular 68 specials. For the weedless, just bend the hook up just a little bit. Defeats the point of it being a weedless hudd if you add the trap hook on top.
