Thread: Fishing in the Rain

    Default Fishing in the Rain

Heard striper fishing was good in the rain so when it started coming down Saturday, I decided to stick it out. It drizzled most of the afternoon and got pretty heavy around 5:00. Was fishing from shore and I brought an umbrella so I kept fishing till 6:00. Fishing was pretty slow all day, but I did manage to catch 3 dinks. Fished with chicken liver, sardines and lug worms. Only got bites (just the 3) on the worms. This was a first for me. I usually just use chicken liver or sardines or anchovies but saw a guy catch a few on the lugworms my last time out, so I thought what the heck.

    Congrats on the catching!

Unless I know for sure what they are biting on, I bring all kinds of bait.
