Default Sierra In the City 2015 Tournament Results!!!!!

Just getting recovered from yesterdays Sierra In the City Trout tournament and all I can say is WOW! What an amazing turn out for what was arguably one of the biggest and best Trout tournaments this year! The sheer amount of raffle prizes that our sponsors gave away yesterday was mind boggling. There was not a raffle prize under $10 handed out with prizes up to $500 given away! So I would like to thank all of the sponsors:
    VC Girls Fishing Buffs
    Angler Chronicles
    Owner Hooks
    Pure Fishing
    Berkley
    Shakesphere
    Fenwick
    Abu Garcia
    Shimano
    Diawa
    Bass Knuckles
    Davey's Locker Sportfishing
    Newport Landing Sportfishing
    H&M Sportfishing
    Parchers Resort
    Oakley
    Bomber Eyewear
    On Target
    Big Bass Dreams
and the Irvine Lake Board of Directors
Without all of them and there generous donations none of this would have been possible so I thank you all very very much! A lot of smiles on everyone's faces yesterday and it was such a great vibe.

On to the fishing and what a day of fishing it was. A lot of stringers made their way up to the scales yesterday with a lot of quality fish in the mix. Fish where coming from all over the lake with the West Shore, Sierra Cove and the Santiago Flats. Bait fishing was great with nightcrawlers and Powerbait being the best methods. With the clear water longer leaders where the norm. Several anglers reported having near limits for 3 by 9 in the morning.

Brad Donahue far left used a B line Jig to catch his 5.95, Eddy Tillett cauth this 8.10lb Rainbow Trout while fishing in Sierra Cove with a Trout Worm dipped in Bite On, and Steve "Bugman/ 2015 Masters Champion" Duncan used his Chunkin Duncan (double wacky rigged Power Worm) dipped in Bite On to catch his 8.15lb Rainbow Trout.

Jerry Aguilar caught this 5.85lb Rainbow Trout earning him 9th place in todays tournament.

Your 2015 Sierra In The City winner is Rob "Rooster" Primm of La Habra with this 8.75lb Rainbow Trout he caught trolling a Rapala. Congratulations Rooster my friend you defintley earned this one.

Raellen Lu caught this 6.20lb Rainbow Trout during the Sierra In the City tournament earning him 7th place.

PJ Smith captured 6th place with this 6.30lb Rainbow Trout.

James Smelt trolled a lure to earn 10th place with this 4.85lb Rainbow Trout.

Ms Samantha Coll had a GREAT day on the water with her dad Dan.
