Can anyone give me some insight on a waist pack rod holder combo. It will be used for surf fishing. Tired of having to fiddle with my backpack and put my rod down every time I need to switch my tackle.

Not for a waist pack but almost everyone has a vest.

I use this while surf fishing (or did before we had our baby Evan)... But it works great... I usually wear it the other way around with the storage compartment on my belly versus it being in the rear like it is shown in the pictures. Makes more sense to me to wear it that way and have easy access to the storage area
Saw the wfo trek pack....looks well made. Never considered a vest....that might be a good idea with a belt rod holder. Thanks guys.
