Saw a couple guys in waders fly fishing at Willow in LB. Watched them for about 1/2 hour. When the one guy came around the island his buddy yelled out "I got one" ?
Carp on fly's ? Or did they target something else ? I missed the catch.

DR, Greg Madrigal has a number of pics on his Sierra Nets Facebook page of Carp on flies he has caught the last several weeks in the LA river, check it out.
Here is a pic of Greg from his Facebook this morning. Looks like he is killin' um on the fly.
Greg was with us up at Cottonwood Lakes a couple years ago with his nephew. He is a nonstop fishing machine for sure. Really nice guy, too.
Looks like he might be using a bamboo rod with those metal ferrules.
