Lagoon love
Went out to the lagoon last night got there around 9 weather was perfect no wind casted my hud got a bite before it can even get to the ground set the hook and a beautiful 6.5 pounder fished the spot a little more and noting started working the bank about 45 min later another strike just a lilltle shy of 5 pounds working the hud fish and game shows up as I get another strike reeling in the fish its fighting me hard it's a monster fish and game tells me I need to put my rod down and show him my fishing license I was like really right now? Can you give me a minute? Snapped my 20 pound braid I was pissed of I show him the license and he says ok thanks better luck next time lol I just wanted to see what that was it was huge I guess you can't win them all after that the bite slowed down went to the fishing pier and there is a group of guys with heavy duty ocean rods fishing for trout it's just funny there is no trout in there and even if there was you weren't going to catch them with those rods. Overall I'm happy the lagoon is picking up and the water level went up a good 10-15 feet it's going to be a good season.
