Default Colorado River March 20th. Personal best SMB!!!

Found the big boys this weekend! Most caught on a shad swimbait (Greg) and my square bill crank. We were hitting ambush points and rocks on the shore. Most were smashing them as soon as it landed. It was like fishing top water with a crank bait. I lost some good ones cause i spazzed out and set the hook before they ate it, but learned my lesson quick and caught the biggest SMB we have sen on this stretch of the river. Almost 5 pounds!! Had two more big ones over 3 as well.

    The fish:

    Sorry buddy!

Got this guy as i was diving in to save a rod that went overboard!

Pretty darn good weekend of fishing!!
