Some good perching with my buds up north
Got the itch to pull on something yesterday, so decided to scratch it with a couple buddys up north. Arrived at 6AM, and did our walk in to the promised land.
Conditions were small waves, fairly warm water, and mixed clean, and weedy areas fished. My first cast was a nice 12 incher, and it just kept getting better
from there. We hit some rocks that were on fire for about a half hour while the conditions were right, and I pulled this.
Chuck got his pb today also
All in all we had a good 100+ for our efforts today, all caught on the LC 110. I get to smile at work tomorrow!!!
Til next time, Mikey

You Da Man Mikey. Some people might think your numbers are slightly exaggerated but I know where you hammered them and those numbers and size are right in line for sure.
Nice spawning colors on those fish for sure. Reminds me of what it's supposed to be like down here this time of year. Can't believe I'm saying this but... I miss the winter/spring perch thing in Samo Bay! ....Damn El Nino water....LOL
Big congrats to Chuck on his PB as well!

Dang, why can't we get those size down here in San Diego waters...
Good to see you putting up some reports Mikey.
I would like to get at least one session up there this year.
But alas, work is keeping me on a short leash down here.
Take Care My Friend & God Bless.
