    Default The Legg Report CRAPPIE

    I've been doing well there with small plastics. Crappie/trout sized baits drop-shotted. Bass, trout and gills. No crappie yet. On Friday, my bro and I planned on changing our spot to the north shore of the south lake. I noticed these bass fishers in the middle lake missing hooksets. Turns out that the DFG planted catfish. I told my pops and he was on it yesterday and today. This morning he skunked on Cats but started tossing a white crappie jig and bang, a 2lb. white crappie. Caught and Released, no photo. I never caught crappie in the middle lake and didn't think they were there. I get them in that south lake, but they are connected and I figure that the crappie go from lake to lake. Great news! No pix

    2lbs nice,my biggest crappie ever came from the Pudd.
