Thread: 2015 Sierra Opener

    Default 2015 Sierra Opener

So... haven't seen one of these threads posted yet. Anyone plan on making their way up. I'm currently undecided. Moving back to Cali next week and haven't been to the Mammoth area in years. Sounds like with the cruddy winter they had there might be a lot more open water this year for the opener.

Fishing should be, er, off the hook. Crowley should be absolutely epic, wish I could go.

Crowley was epic last year, I'll be fishing that Saturday morning and then headed to Bridgeport twin lakes for the evening brown bite! Also fishing lower twin Sunday!

I usually fish from a float tube so i don't use power baits.
My favorites are Panther Martins, Thomas Bouyants, Trout Teasers and Power worms.
If one doesn't work switch to another color
