    Default IRS taxes !!!

First time in my life that I ever had to pay at the end of the year, never did when I worked. Been retired for over six years now and paid monthly in to my two retirement plans for about forty years. Just started getting SS checks this last year, guess I bring home to much of my own money that was put away, now they want some back.

4,000? That's alot of fishing money to play with.

OMG!! Is that 4000 specifically from SS?

I am self employed and sick and tired of all these #^** taxes I pay.

Just finished my returns and bummed I still owe 6000 after paying all my estimated
    Quarterly taxes last year!

I wish I can ignore it but I don't want someone up my arse. Haha

I say... Go fishing! Always seems to help make me feel better.

I feel the same. Wife and I both claim 0 all year. Bought a house early last year. IRA and 401K and a bunch of other pre tax junk. Have 2 beautiful kids one in daycare. Do everything right and everything possible, and still end up owing. UNREAL!!!

I got back $23 this year. I'm still deciding what extravagant purchase I'm going to use it for...
