    Just kidding… How many were thinking "What the he….?" This is actually a Murray Cod, which is a bass-like freshwater gamefish caught in south eastern Australia. I thought it was a cool looking fish and thought other fisherman would like to see this. Fishermen use regular bass tackle and lures to catch these super strong fighters. These fish can get really big, up to 5 feet long, but with heavy overfishing in the early 1900s, the giant Murray Cods are now rarely seen.
