Tehachapi Brite Lake Derby

Brite Lake Fishing Derby will be held April 18, 2015.
Entry Fee : $15
Derby starts at 7:00AM to 1:00PM.

Any fish caught is eligible to win, trout, crappie, bluegill, catfish, and lmb.
Also many categories to win like smallest fish, heaviest stringer, kids categories, and of course cash prizes for the three biggest fish.
The past 2 years a lmb has won the biggest fish for the day, but they usually plant trout up to 7 or 8 lbs.
Nice place to spend the day so bring a lunch or BBQ and grill your fresh caught fish.
Pre-event tickets for the derby are available at the TVRPD office or at the lake.
