Default SARL 2/22/2015 Personal Best Monster

Checked the weather and chance of rain was 50% but didn’t that stop me from heading out there started the day fishing at La Palma Point with a mice tail and powerbait set up with no love all morning nobody on shore was catching anything at all so filled up my tube and off I go. I brought my cat rod to see if they wanted to play, set up the cat rod with a fly line nightcrawler and next thing you know im hooked to something BIG. That thing gave me the fight of my life and it is my personal best. I wasn’t going to tube but my gut feeling paid off and look what I landed. tipped the scale at 10.4 pounds
Cant wait till catfish season starts

Finished the day with 0 trout and this monster

The adrenaline of landing this monster was ridiculous

Nice catfish. Too bad the trout weren't biting but a pb catfish is always nice.

Yes trout bite was super slow not one bite at all but the catfish definitely made up for it
