Jig Stick for overnight trips?

Hi could you please recommend a jigstick to match up with my Daiwa Saltist BG35 with 40 lb mono? I was thinking about the Calstar Grafighter 900M... any opinions before I get it?

Try out an 8 foot rod and see how you like it. i love the 270-8h calstar

Calstar 90j, Seeker Ulua 9', Phenix 909xh or xhj. I think the 900M is a little soft for 40lb and the H is a bit stiff for throwing jigs.

Yeah I already have the Grafighter 800M & I would like to cast even farther. A kid from Young's Tackle uses the 900M for his BG35 & I needed a second opinion. I got plenty now, I am going to write every single recommendation & check them out at the Fred Hall show. Thanks!

Torium 20...but thinking about trying it with a saltist ld35. I know some guys even mount penn baja specials on Ulua's but that is just way too big for me to throw iron with

Love mine, great jig stick. I'm getting too old for the 9-foot kind I think, seems they have started to fight back. Those bigger yellows put some leverage on the big end too.
