Default 2/13 stripers still tough but got 1 oddball

Beautiful day, but no stripers. Water is really high and 58*. Trolling around I found a ball of bait and hit the spot-lock. Dropped a jig on it down 50 feet and whamo! I thought I had a PB striper. Fought like hell for 15 minutes. Then I see color.... Dang. Click image for larger version.

Yo, nice Kitty Pat! Is all that new water stained up a bit or is it still clear?

Slowly staining lake green. I didn't haunt the shallows so can't comment on the color there.
