    Default Introducing myself to the FishingNetwork community.

    Hey guys! To start off, I had an old account and couldn't seem to recover it.... so I'm here now! My name is Matt, just turned 14, and love to fish. I mainly fish saltwater bass in harbors with swimbaits. I also do hit the surf occasionly with Luckycrafts. Never got a legal halibut but have came very close! I fishing in King Harbor most often but I have done Newport, LA Harbor, and some places in Sandiego. I do fish freshwater aswell quite often. My pb in Fresh is about a 10 pound largemouth that was fooled on the drop shot. Caught and released of course! Well guys, Ill be given a report soon! Also how do you post pictures? Thanks!     I'm fairly new here myself. These guys have a wealth of information and are glad to share it.
    I'm sure you'll find it usefull to become and even better angler than you already are.

    Welcome, Keep a eye on KH for birds and seals. If the baits moves in then the birds and seals are active.
    I fish the rocks by Joes or Samba. Kastmaster, Kroc and LCs. Large clear bubble 1/2 full of water and a 6' leader to a fly is the old school KH style that still works for Bonito and Macs.

    we used to fly Fish for the Bonita and mackerel

    Never caught a Spottie in KH in all the years I've fished there.
    Then again I don't bottom fish there much.
