Helena 3/4 day charter with los anglers and bomber eyewear 1/18

Recap from Sundays Charter trip on the Helena out of Dana Point, with Los Anglers crew and Bomber Eyewear. This trip was epic! i caught my first yoyo style iron fish on a Salas 6x. I have to give a huge shoutout to the captain Calvin on this trip he is the hardest working captain ive ever seen. He was on the deck, in the wheelhouse and even cleaning fish on the way back in. The schools of yellowtail are huge especially for this time of the year. My total fish count was 2 up to 30 lbs for the day on the iron and my buddy BC got 4 with the JP fish to go along. My setup for the trip was a Phenix Abyss 20-50 paired with a torium 20 loaded with 65 lb power pro and a 50lb floro leader in pink seagar. The hot jigs for the trip were Salas 6x and 7x in the baby sh*t, bird sh*t , and scrambled egg. Get out there guys they are biting.
