I wonder if it's missing a testicle or two to allow it to grow that size.
If not, that's a mighty big beast. But I've never heard of a natural/wild rainbow growing that size in 7 years.

That's no steelhead, but it sure looks like a triploid rainbow. Nice catch whatever it was, had to be a ride and a half on six-pound.
Big fish but 28lbs might be steep mho.
