Snagged this American shad by accident last night in AV duct. First time I see this northern fish moved down south.
Missed a couple of bites.
Released it.
I would have released it to coy ,well kinda, ,,lol

That's a rare sight . Been 20+ years since I have seen a AS down here
Shad are thick this year.
Makes me believe what Dan S. Has been saying.
The big girls are scarce nowadays.
That shad has been in the av for a few years due to its mature size
