    Default AV report 2015

Fish last night with my buddy. Late flow, we walked for a mile in the fullmoon night with no action. Visited a few spots which also had no lives... It has been weird for the vampire fishing lately. However, that is the only time I could go. Last spot, I beat the skunk. First fish for the new year. Good size fish. I will post the DD with scale on the contest later this year hopefully hahaha...

    It was really cold night.

good job and nice fish.not sure if you would want to try this but here it is. when i see ice forming on my guides i usually put oil on it. i substituted it with lard when i used to do back country stuff. it helps with the icez.

another thing i would suggest is using sternos for heat/fire. i like them because they burn clean, have a low profile, easy to carry. you can cook food with it,and they have a high heat output. it is also adjustable if you need more heat just split the top part of the can off or you could transfer it to a metal can with more surface area.obviously the more surface area yo burn the less burn time you have.works really well when youre baitfishing . just put it next to your legs when your sitting down.

im pretty sure you already know how to dress but i will go over it fir those who dont know. outetlayer is a water and wind proof, middle layer insulation, and inner layer is something to absorb the sweat.

after some serious skunk trips, I finally found a lonely dink....caught it on KPN on my brand new GL rod which was replaced from GL. The old rod was accidentally broken by the slam rear door.
