Hiked into the mountains with a fellow FNN member a little before Christmas. Tossed micro lures and tiny jigs for elusive rainbow trout. Mananged to land nearly 20 of the little guys. It was refreshing to see these fish survive the recent drought; hopefully the abundant rain and spring hatch will fatten them up for further trips. All fish were safely released.
Video:
Water was cold cold cold, perfect for these little rainbow trout. Clear skies until we actually hit the creek, felt like it was going to snow for a little bit.
