    Very interesting. I hope this 6" layer of Betinite will work. It seems like a temporary fix for the polluted sediment but probably the only realistic option at this point.

    6.5' max depth? Huh. I wonder how much of the lake will actually be open to fishing.

    I was hoping they would drain it and scrape it. One estimate was a million water snakes on the college side. I've heard first hand reports of Pacu in there. In the 50's, 60's is was a great LMB spot. Draining would have fixed the Carp problem, huge leatherback turtles. I restored my Whaler in a buddies garage across the street and a guy in the building from Florida that owned a tackle shop told me he spent weeks fishing it and never caught a bass.

    The lake is only 45 acres? No... it has to be larger than that.

    A acre is 208' x 208'. Say about like a football field.
    45 acres sounds about right ?

    I can't picture it, but you're right. I said what I said because I recall reading somewhere online saying that the lake was 100+ acres in size. Totally wrong on that.
