Thread: They are still hungry 12/20

Default They are still hungry 12/20

Didn't see many reports from dec in years past so I thought I'd post up some intel for everybody, they are still hungry, but you have to work for them! Also, lake level is up, but only about 6". About 4.5' from a useable launch ramp.

Went out yesterday with a couple of new friends. On the water at 6:15, off around 3:30. We had 5 fish in the boat by 0800 and worked the rest of the day for 6 more. Had a couple of drivebys but most everything stuck and was landed! 4 were scaled over 10 pounds, 1 5 pounder and the others were 8-9 pounds.

    Pics to follow!

Thanks for reading and keep the lines tight!
    Tony

I've never fished San Atonio, but I've heard the stories of how tough it can be to catch there, but when you do, you can be rewarded with big pigs. You and your buddies have been killing it there like no one I've heard of before! Congrats on all the double D's you've gotten this year.

It wasn't as cold as it looks in the pictures. But it did sprinkle on us off and on throughout the day!

No, you can back a small boat close to the water and push it in, and then use the winch to pull it up when you are done. They won't let you try with anything larger than 14' though.

May not be as far out of reach as you think ;). But thanks for the kind words!
