Thread: 12/14 Sunday Striper Slay with BadBeat & Commander Wingnut.

  1. #1

Default 12/14 Sunday Striper Slay with BadBeat & Commander Wingnut.

Binh aka BadBeat and I kidnapped Commander Wingnut yesterday for a day of Striper slaying.
Arthur has been working his little butt off during the holidays and we're happy that we were able to pry him away from work for a day of fun, friendship and fishing.
I asked Binh where we should go and he says Castaic. Then I asked Arthur and he says Pyramid. Sorry Binh, you have been outranked.
Great fishing with my brothers from another mother and got to take take home some nice Stripers.

Launched around 7:30am. Man it was COLD!! I'm glad Binh told me to bring some warm clothes, thanks bro.
Even when the sun came out it was still cold.

Started trolling and picked off some really decent looking Stripers. White was the hot color today. Fat and healthy fish up to 5 lbs. We only kept the ones between 2-5 lbs and let go all the really smaller ones.
Probably caught over 30 fish but kept only 18.
Didn't see any boils all day.

Put the Mako on the trailer by 1:00pm. What a great day on the water.

Here are some photos, enjoy. Happy Holidays everybody.

    Sokha aka Troublehook

    Ready to launch.

    Let's go home.

Ya slayed um, great report. It's only gonna get colder with the two new weather fronts coming in. Better put cold weather gear on Santa's list.

Congrats guys on the striper slaying. Will we see more of the SWAT in the fresh?
